Risa Clay is the New Tinton Falls Mayor
At the March 18, 2025 Council meeting, the borough council unanimously voted to appoint Council President Risa Clay to the position of Mayor for the remainder of the current term which expires at the end of this year.
​
This is a really good thing. Risa has shown nothing but service and dedication to Tinton Falls, and will breathe some new life into out town.
​

At that same meeting, the Council voted to install Councilperson Dr. Lawrence Dobrin as the new Council President, and Councilperson Mike Nesci as the Council Vice President. Risa's appointment creates an opening on the Council, and the Council will appoint a new member to fill out Risa's term at an upcoming meeting, likely on April 1.
​
Remember that even before all of this happened, this year we are electing a new Mayor and Three Council Seats in November. It's not too late for you to jump into the race.

Democratic Candidates for Local and State Offices
We've been yapping a lot about the New Jersey Governor's race, and that is really important, BUT, there are a bunch of other races this fall, and we've got great Democratic candidates running for those spots.

Here is what we know of so far. All of the races besides Governor have only one Democrat running.

Our two tremendous State Assembly representatives are running for re-election this year, and they will need all the help we can muster.

We meet most months on the FOURTH TUESDAY of the month at 6:30PM, but due to conflicts, there are a couple of exceptions to that rule. Dates below in BLUE with ** with are NOT on the fourth Tuesday.
