LD11 Assembly Margie and Luanne
Fundraiser May 6
It's hard to know where to put our time and money in this chaotic election season, but one of the best and most consequential races happening for us here in Tinton Falls is the race for the Legislative District 11 Assembly. We have two great incumbent Assembly members running for re-election, Margie Donlon and Luanne Peterpaul, and in our district, keeping Democrats in office is no easy task. So consider attending their upcoming fundraiser or just donating to their campaign. They are worth it.

Two New Jersey Governor Debates
May 12 and May 18
Still not sure who you're going to support for Governor in the June primary? Me neither. Well, we've got two big debates coming up that will hopefully provide some key insights. These are the debates for the Democratic candidates. There are Republican debates, but they are not being listed here.
May 12 7:00 to 8:00
NJ PBS, NJ Spotlight News, WNYC (radio)
This one is only an hour and is going to be a little more of a conversation.
You can view this debate on: NJ PBS, NJ Spotlight News, Chat Box w/ David Cruz, WNYC, CSPAN, live streaming on NJ Spotlight News YouTube channel
May 18 7:00 to 9:30
NJ Globe, On New Jersey, Rider University, County of Essex
This looks like the real deal. Two and a half hours. I expect this to be pretty substantive, and the last chance to see the candidates debate (I think).
You can view this debate on: Live streaming On New Jersey at www.onnj.com, Roku, Fire TV, NewsOn, Samsung TV, and Apple TV. Also available on YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram. Also airing live on www.newjerseyglobe.com along with social media platforms. Audio version to be available on podcast partners Apple, Spotify and iHeart. Republican debate also will air live on Save Jersey. Available on CSPAN.
The 2025 Primary Election
Tuesday, June 10
I know we're not nearly done processing the giant cluster-duck that was the November 2024 election, but life goes on, and in 2025, New Jersey is having a big state-level election including a race for Governor. In fact, there are a lot of offices up for grabs this November. But before we can vote in November, we need to pick the Democratic candidates at the Primary Election. Mark your calendar and start learning about the candidates. For June, the only real contest are the six people running for Governor, and picking a good candidate is really important. Now is not a good time to have New Jersey swing red.
Mail-in Ballots go out on April 19 !!
Early in-person Voting is June 3-8
Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 10
